And she’s bringing all the sparkle of countrypolitan with her to Apple Music Country with the launch of her brand new show, Rhinestone Radio, a bi-weekly radio show devoted to exploring the forgotten history and hidden gems of two of country music’s most influential eras, the Nashville Sound and Countrypolitan.

Apple Music Country’s newest show brings a sparkly twist to country music history.

From 2010 to 2014, millions of listeners across the nation tuned in to their local country radio stations to hear the best in country music—and the highlights of country music’s biggest news and happenings courtesy Sam, CMT’s premiere entertainment correspondent. Through a nationally-syndicated morning radio partnership, morning shows across America would welcome Sam to their broadcast LIVE each morning to share both the hilarious and heartwarming and hard-hitting news stories out of Nashville from her studio in CMT’s headquarters.
Sam also served as CMT Radio’s red carpet correspondent, covering events like the CMT Music Awards, The Academy of Country Music Awards, and the ACM Honors in addition to private and public industry events in Nashville.
She served as a press-room correspondent for CMA Fest and hosted an afternoon of shows at the Riverfront Stage for CMA Music Fest.
Throughout her tenure with CMT Radio, Sam sat down with stars like Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Eric Church, Kelly Clarkson, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, and many, many more.
